To do that, you need to look at the detailed error messages shown in the black console window at the bottom of the Arduino IDE window. You need to investigate the error when compiling for the Trinket M0. They are very different, thus the failure to upload. There is no way you'll be able to use your Trinket M0 with the 'Adafruit Playground Classic' board selected.
