move the original (or copy the backup there, keep a backup in case the shit hits the fan) into the backup folderĢ0. also check do not start the download automaticlyġ9. now open settings and locate the download folder and notate its locationġ8. ok now install qbittorrent (i recommend the 32bit version no matter what system you are on)ġ7. if there are a few left then manyally remove them, otherwise restart your computer and try again.ġ6. now check that the file name column no longer has the wierd extensionġ5. in the previer column make sure all strange extensions are gone.ġ4. then click refresh priview (the paper with the maganing glass) or press F5ġ2. check 'include extension in search' (apply to extension instead of filename should remain unchecked)ġ1. leave replace by blank (this will replace the extension with nothing, deleting it and leaving the original extension)ġ0. in 'search for' input the extension (including the dot (ie '.!ut')ĩ. if using ant renamer use the following settings in actions (keyboard shortcut ctrl+2)Ĩ. !ut (or somthing else) remove that extension (if you have a ton of files i recommend using a bulk renamer like ant renamer ( )Ħ. finally remove the green monster and/or its purple cousin.ĥ.
